I am fascinated by night photography and the wonders of the night sky as they bring together an unknown and magical element beyond what our eyes can visually see.

I love the challenge and rewards night photography brings and the exciting creativity after dark.

Cottage By The Sea Aurora - REF:16 The waves crashed with a roar behind the Ballintoy cottage with the aurora in the backdrop. There was even a seat to sit back and watch nature's theater.	Ballintoy Solar Colours - REF:17 With mild aurora activity the night sky had solar colour looking out from the shoreline across the rocks.	Dunluce Midnight Aurora - REF:18 Midnight on a cold February night at Dunluce Castle there was amazing texture with the sea as the wind was strong and the aurora was visable on the horizon.
Giant's Causeway Aurora - REF:19 A March aurora on the Atlantic horizon at the world famous Giant's Causeway.	Astro Giant's Causeway - REF:20 Two of natures wonders together, the Giant's Causeway and the aurora. "Across the universe" was said to me regarding this image.	Edge of The Causeway - REF:21 It was a tricky night time climb across the rocks of the Giant's Causeway to the water’s edge drawn by the rocks forming a ring shape into the sea for this capture.
Moonlit Clouds Causeway - REF:22 The moon light lit up the night time clouds that were ever changing over the Giant’s Causeway.	Curtain of Cloud Causeway - REF:23 I watched the cloud roll in from behind as it fell like a curtain over the hills at the Giants Causeway and the sea with the wet rocks illuminated by the moon light.	Giant's Causeway Midnight - REF:24 It was midnight and my final shot that night with the aurora still visible behind the clouds. It was very peaceful with the only sound being the waves.
Giant's Causeway The Swirl Ref:25 The sea was coming in over the rocks creating a swirl which I captured during this night time long exposure.	Moonlit Sunset - Kilbane Ref:35 Following a dramatic sunset, the moon lit up the night sky at Kilbane Castle as the stars appeared above the clouds.	Frozen Reflection - Canada - REF:62 It was a very clear winter’s night, -20 at Vermillion Lakes in Banff, Canada. I was drawn by the frozen pool of ice and reflections.
Lake Minnewanka Star Trail - REF 63 The stars were dancing and it was -25c in the dead of winter with only my eyes exposed in the cold as I created this star trail as the earth rotates.	Magical Night Milky Way - REF:40 Sitting in high winds in the Mourne Mountains, I encountered the Milky Way for the first time towering over Spelga Dam. A tremendous sight.
